Personally designed by Chris, the Long Shank Snaffle it is ideal for advancing horses from the short shank snaffle. The four moving parts allow for subtle rein pressure from the rider. The mouthpiece is 5 1/4" is made of sweet iron with a smooth snaffle mouthpiece, the copper rounds increase salivation. The shank is 8 1/4" and is a round loose cheek shank featuring the CC logo. It will not pinch the corners of the mouth but also is weighted to offer more feel. **Note: This bit will rust when exposed to moisture and creates a sweet taste in the horse's mouth and promotes salivation.**
